Tongue placement when singing vs talking

I don’t understand so my tongue should rest in the top of my mouth and when I sing it should be in the bottom? And what when I talk?
I don’t understand please help

    Doesn’t really matter where it is when you talk Whatever video of kens you watched to learn about it being in the bottom of your mouth you should watch again for an explanation of where it should be dinging

    when you sing the exercises, you are doing only vowels, so you can keep the tongue flat. in songs with lyrics, you are not going to be able to keep your tongue flat. the consonants are interrupting the openness in the throat which is ideal for tone
