I love the videos and have finally bought the course to give myself a Christmas present. Were you all overwhelmed at the beginning? Just by chance turned on Sesame Street this morning and they were singing "Sing a Song" because it makes you happy the whole day long. Don't worry if you're not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing, sing a song. I am getting older and I am getting what I call an old lady warble. It's so arggh, Although I loved it when my grandma would sing to me, but arggh, I want to stem it off at least for a few more years. That's why I'm here. I am hoping if I put in the work, I can stem off grandma and keep up with my fantastic piano player of a son. After 3 years of playing, we are finally moving in an upright piano into the house. I love it all!! Good luck to everyone who takes their singing seriously. Singing puts me in a great mood and we all need some of that going into 2021. Happy New Year!

Welcome @Handsley ! I'm so glad you've decided to start this journey, it's a fun one! Yes, I felt overwhelmed by the course at first but the trick is to take it slow, and make sure you understand. Ken can be kind of fast in his instruction sometimes which leads to people missing things. So just slow it down, pause the videos and rewind if need be and let it sink in and then resume. I find it helps.

You can also ask questions here in the forums if there is anything you're struggling with or having a hard time understanding, the people here are very friendly and understanding.

I look forward to seeing you around!

Like Chris said use the forum for help and pointers. Also take stuff a step at a time. Don’t try to tackle too many issues at one time. Post scales for critique often. You’d be amazed at how helpful it is and how helpful the people here are
