Hi, I’m Jeanette (Nette74). Newbie in this Forum. In theory been singing since the age of 3. I sing on Smule, for fun and joy of singing. My voice is a lil bit Country n a lil bit Rock n Roll (as far as I can tell I’m Contralto) but I havent got a good handle on my voice yet

Alot of people hear use Smule, it seems to be the easiest way to get started, if you want technical feed back avoid the pitch correction feature.

I am on Smule, there’s a pitch correction feature lol ?? I found an app called Dolby on, but singing Acapella to a Metronome is so different from Smule

I don't use Smule my self but I've heard some effects also might pitch correct.

Yes, some filters on Smule will allow for pitch correction, but you can turn it off. It operates similarly to how you adjust the reverb effect and amount, if you’re familiar with that feature. If you’re not...click the filter you wish to use and the effects icons will display. You can then click each effect icon to see the default settings for that filter and there will be a slider to adjust the amount of each effect.
