Main workouts - Vol. 1

Hi!
I'm Fredrik and I'm new here. I'm currently doing KTVA Vol.1. I'm on the Main Audio Workouts part.
Should I only do them with low energy/volume or should I go through them once low energy and once high energy? I feel I can go higher without straining my throat when doing high energy/volume but in workout nr 09 Ken says that it's very important to do it lightly and not power through the sounds. Does that go for all the workouts or just the scale ones?
