@Mike86, Really cool mate. I love that style of music, and I think you captured the feel of it pretty well. I think that in parts the vocal could have flowed a tiny bit better, but if you are playing and singing at the same time I get the challenge believe me. I can play better when not singing and I can sing with more articulation and feel when not playing, but I really love to do both Also I like the tone you were getting to, great job!
Thanks, I appreciate the compliments and critique - always looking to improve! Yes, I wrote it and sang/played at same time. Just recorded on the voice memo app on my phone so would like to take another crack at it with a proper recording on my computer.
Singing and playing at the same time is very difficult, especially if you do it sitting down. I remember trying to sing a Houston song lying down, then they suggested I sit on the couch at the audition. I could barely get a note out, it was very high for my range. So I can say that even this version of your song is very beautiful. Can I download mp3 at high quality in this version? If yes, give me a link where I could download your songs or what you composed. I like your voice and timbre so much.
Yes it is definitely a challenge, but very fun. Where did you audition/what for? I did this version standing. I post my projects on bandlab also at @mikemmusic if you want to hear more, but I don't think you can download from there. I'd be happy to email you the file.

Did you write that?
Did you sing and play it at the same time?
