Wow just wow. I'm a songwriter 1st and foremost, and guitarist by trade. Ironically, the vocals and rhythm section maintain my attention. Strong Motown influence from my single digit youth, I suppose.
More importantly, I love hearing these guys singing covers on your youtube channel. If I were scouting for an incredible female vocalist, I know exactly where my search would begin and end.
Also, kudos to you Ken, for not homogenizing these singers into that American Idol doldrum. Steve Marriot, Bon Scott, Mick Jagger, (your fave) David Coverdale, these guys are none A.M. singers, but each is a legend and rightfully so. Lest we forget DLR and James Brown, neither a technical dream, both legends.
