Chesty belting

Hello everyone, something has been bothering me for a while, why do we (men) have to switch to a bright mixed voice unlike females who seem to a similar mixed voice campared to chest voice? I know some will find this funny, but for me it's kinda not a good thing.
I'm a beginner self-taught singer who's learning Arabian and western singing, please help me.
