Hi Everyone, I'm from Australia and I've recently purchased Ken's singing course. I've done singing training years ago - opera - for a couple of years - and learnt to sing otherwise listening to Barbara Streisand as a child. I'm a shy singer and I don't technically read music - makes things interesting! I've been singing along to the likes of ....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I922q0Y63hw - Sarah Loera is fantastic! Looking forward to learning from you all and seeing what I can contribute to make this a more musical life for us all.... I'd like to create an album one day....looking to Ken for inspiration for that one!

Lots of people here do not read music, and others do. It's nice to know, but you can sing fine without reading musical notation. The trick is to learn to sing correctly, and to sound good doing it! You can do that with Barbara Streisand styles and with Lzzie Hale, either one! Ken's course is deeply based upon bel canto techniques, with some modernization and bringing in vowels besides the classic Italian vowels. That helps to rock things up, if you want to sing beyond the classic operatic vowels.
There are lots of different singing styles that are great to develop and pursue. Using right techniques is important whatever singing styles make you happy!
