    I ve been trying to work on the rasp from the beginning in 2010 :), still have a lot of work to do....but the rasp goes hand in hand with compression/holding the air....

    Love the vocal tone. Been in the course less than 6mo. but I'm hoping to contribute to others.

    With such a distorted tone, it can be easy to be slightly under pitch and not know it. Consider focusing on each note with that bright ping AH and no distortion using a pitch tuner if needed (eventually you want to be able to hear pitch without the tuner).

    It looks like you are raising your larynx in some spots. I caution you to go through your checklist of releasing all tension to make sure you are producing your tone in a comfortable and healthy way.
