I like the feel of Mariana, nostalgic and melancholy.

For your cover, I immediately noticed you are using huge amounts of air and sound out of breath. You do hit those high notes well though, I hear you are controlling your breath much better up there.

I keep getting this, what is causing me using so much air and sound? Is it bad, what do I do to stop it?

It can be bad in the long run if you are always defaulting to using so much air every time you sing. You dry out the cords and then feel like you need to use even more air to produce tone and the cycle continues until you cant produce sound at all.People like John Mayer, Adell and Sam Smith have needed to some surgery and technique adjustment because of this.

Do you have time to do your scales? Air management is a pillar of good singing coupled with support. If you have access to the program where you are, I suggest reviewing all of volume 1. You need to think about making your air last as long as possible. There is a long note in hallelujah by Jeff Buckley, and wicked games by Chris Isaac, see if you can learn these songs and try to hold those notes. These songs helped me understand the concept. Then you apply that to your scales and always practice that way to embed the habit.

Once you have the technique, you can choose to use more air for effect in a song, but you won't be reliant on it, it will become a tool instead of the only way.
