Endometriosis treatment and it's effects on the voice

My girlfriend (in her 30s) is a very talented singer who is currently suffering from Endometriosis. She has the option of taking various medications or going through surgery to alleviate the symptoms of the Endo. Currently she is leaning towards a medication called "Lupron" and then doing Ad-back therapy.

My question is this: She is concerned that the medication will mess with her hormones in a way that may affect her voice. Do you have any experience with this or any knowledge about this? Any advice going forward?

Thank you very much!

Its hard to give advice on medical issues. If you haven't already, try and find an ENT that understands the medication options your girlfriend has been given and how they might affect her voice. Its possible someone with a similar circumstance may be able to chime in here, but likely it won't be in time for you to make a decision.
