My original song

Hello all.
I posted an introduction about myself in the introduce yourself section. So I wont go over that again.
I am a guitar player... that has attempted to sing.
This is a song I wrote, play guitars and sing... with drum tracks I used.
This is all done on acid pro, with a very basic setup on a laptop.
I would like some feedback.
It was done a long time ago.... but the song I feel shows my best qualities.

Not bad at all. Sounds lie you have some nice natural vibrato going on, this whole song seems to be at the top of your register which makes it sound a little strained in some areas but overall I think it sounds good. Also the vocals are quite buried in the mix so it's kind of hard to judge a lot of it. I like it though, song sounds solid. Nice work.

Yes it was produced on my small home laptop setup.. and I'm not a real producer... still learning that art.
Maybe it's more of an eq issue why the vocals seem buried? Because if I put them any higher in the mix it seemed to over power.
Yes it is definitely at the top of my register...as I was just learning to sing.

I am working on getting my home studio up and running again soon. I will definitely try to re-mix and master this one.
