Lost falsetto

Hello
I used to have a very strong and effortless falsetto. I use it in all my songs and it was so easy to do. I got sick and sang, that made me lose my voice. It’s been a 6 weeks and i havent gotten it back fully yet, if i do it air sound comes out, it does come out if i push for it tho, but i know thats unhealthy and it doesnt have the same effortless feeling. ENT stroboscopy said my cords are fine. How long does it usually take for it to come back? Please thank you.

If everything came back fine, it will be a matter training to get cord closure back. Falsetto by nature is not good to rely on since it requires alot of air to get that flooty tone. I don't know how long it will take to get back nor what you sounded like to begin with to say if it was a safe sound. You'll have to take it slow and be patient.
