Temporary Hoarseness after Vocal exercises without tension?

Hey all, does anyone have any experience getting some hoarseness for 30m-1h after working out chest voice exercises?

I made sure I wasn’t pushing air, and often stop to check for there being
No strain in neck or chest

But I still get this temporary hoarseness maybe towards the end of the session of scales and also for 30m-45m after stopping

Is this a result of working it out?
And something that will come with time like going to the gym soreness for muscles?

i had it a few times when i switched from vol 1 to vol 2 but accidentally did vol 2 twice in a row because i misunderstood something. i don't think i was oversinging or pushing too hard but i was not ready for the (excessive) workload. i noticed my mistake after a few sessions and then it was fine as soon as i only did one round of vol 2. your case might be different but if i was to generalize my experience, i guess it was too much work for too little muscle. reduce the time spent or skip the highest notes, and slowly work your way up there.
