How to control air while singing?

Hello! I understand now the diaphragmatic breath thing, but I have trouble with controlling air. I understand using too much air is very bad to the voice, but I just have no idea how to use less air. Any advice will be very apreciated.

you control airflow with support. using support makes sure that the air does not escape as fast as it would otherwise. there are also advanced techniques like glottal compression to reduce airflow even more. you can hear leaking air, and the bright ping Ken talks about is an indicator for good air management

ok that's great. you will have to experiment with the sensations and watch the videos often to work your way towards good support, it is a process that can take a while so don't give up, it will come. make sure to read as much as you can about it here, too
