Extra fluid/mucus

Hello guys..so i have been infected with covid last month, for the second time..
i am really glad to say that i haven't lost my upper range..but the thing is, it left me with a little side effect..
I have noticed that my throat seems having a hard time to produce a bright ping because of the extra fluid/mucus in my throat..i know its bad to clear our throat(doing ahem), and coughing will make it even worse..i have drink a lot of water but it making it even worse when it coating my vocal cord making it to produce a dark croaky sound..how do we get rid of this fluid/mucus in our throat? Anyone faced this issue before?
