Should I remove my lip piercings?

I have two lip ring piercings (snake bites) and was wondering if having these has any negative consequences on singing?

If they don’t negatively affect your speech, then they’re probably not an issue. Uploading a song (I don’t know that scales would be as helpful in this situation because you don’t have to negotiate consonants, and I’d think that’s where the piercing could potentially create problems) might be a good idea.
