Can anyone give advice / opinions as to tracking high C5-G5 "80's metal screams" (not growl)?
We have a M149 and the singer is good / can hit those notes clean and ringing.
also, we are aware of post production DAW stuff like reverbs and pitching dups
but this post is about actual doubled takes (or not) (not about fake ones in post).
For stuff like highest held note takes of Sad Wings / Child in Time etc...
Should vocalist double those takes? how many? same pitch or other?
