Hi

Whats the technique in singing this song?
It is Judas Priest and the song is Saints in hell.
Is it chest voice/belting or head voice?
It sounds too light to be chest voice.
I tried singing this in head voice but it sounds too weak.

It's both. Only the E5's and above are pure head voice. From D5 down to A5 is a belted mix. Below that he's in chest.

Your version doesn't sound weak, at all. You're getting it except when you give up and sing 1 octave down for relief.

It's both. Only the E5's and above are pure head voice. From D5 down to A5 is a belted mix. Below that he's in chest.

Your version doesn't sound weak, at all. You're getting it except when you give up and sing 1 octave down for relief.

Yeah im not used in singing mixed voice. But in this song he sings a B4 in the verses is that belted mix?

Yes, a strong belted mix. Strong enough that most would simply call it his voice. But you were asking for a technical breakdown. Yes, you sounded good, on pitch, and just need to maintain the intensity throughout.
