Hi folks,
I just recently found Ken on YouTube and decided to start the course. I been singing and playing piano for many years now. I'm 57, and recently started picking up some more restaurant gigs again. So now that I'm getting busier again, I really want to improve my vocals.
I studied vocals in the mid 90s with an opera vocal couch in Hoboken, NJ. He since passed away.
I've also studied jazz piano privately over the years, so I enjoy the standards from the American songbook. In addition, I love classic rock/pop/blues/folk - and so I have a lot of pop tunes in my repertoire as well from 60s/70s/80s, etc.
In addition, I love languages. So with my Italian background, I learned to speak it - and sing in Italian as well.
I hope to get a lot out of Ken's videos in terms of vocal consistency, vocal strength, and an increase in my range. I have some allergy issues so it's esp. important for me to drink a lot of water and exercise my vocals daily (except on gig day where it's very light singing).
Happy singing everyone.
Peace,
Bob

Welcome, Bob
We have similar backgrounds replacing Italian with Spanish. You're in the right place and look forward to your progress on the course!
