Stretching Chest and Resist Mix Voice

Alright, I haven't post anything for year..The thing is I want to know how do you resist going into mix voice during the Lah Ah Chest Voice Scale?
First of all, im baritone..My chest range is F2-G4 and my goal is to stretch chest voice to B4 or C5 in chest..And my head voice can go down as low as A3 and able to reach A5 on the good day..
So to put it more simply, I was "obsessed" with mixed voice in the past..Yes im not gonna deny it..I was really "Obsessed" with mix voice that I start to use other method(Even though Ken highly recommend and prohibited for us to learn mix voice too early) to learn mix voice..
One of the method that I use is Sliding Up Vocal Fry that help my cord get closed and zip up on the high note, to the point that "sometimes(Not Often)" the Lah Ah Scales of My Chest Voice shift naturally into Mix Voice..
Whenever I am focusing today's practice only on Chest Voice, I can easily resist going into Mix Voice in the Lah Ah Chest Voice Exercise..But when I train my mix voice today, The Lah Ah Chest Voice of mine naturally shift into mix voice on G4..
The real question is, how do we resist going into mix?..Do I need to delay developing mix?..Or do any of you having this same issues?..Do I have no chance to grow my chest voice past G4 at all now that my voice zipping up into mix voice on high note?..
I am seriously scare and start to regret learning mix voice too early because my goal is to stretch My Chest Voice up to at least B4/C5...😢

You "resist" by keeping chest a little thicker at the top before releasing into head. It doesn't have to
be 100% chest to count as stretching chest. In fact, you can do it from the opposite side, as well.
What volume of the course are you on?
When you get through Vol 3 and begin on Vol 4, you may find you can start in head voice and descend to just above your current highest chest note. From there, try to bring in more chest to that head note. But you're going to need to have a very strong head voice (that Vol 4 gives you) to do this.
What specific place in the course are you?

Ohhh I see..Now that you mention it, your explanation make sense since Mix Voice is part of Chest and Head..
So does that mean that if my voice shift naturally(Sometimes) into Mix, it also means that over the time, my highest chest note will increase over the time as long as I push the Chest note in that Mix? So, I still have a chance to extend my chest note to B4 at least?

Actually, I didn't buy the course yet..Im only using Ken's free exercise on the Youtube..But I can see the growth in my voice even with the free lesson..
To be honest, I stop singing in the middle of 2023 due to personal issues..And recently at the end of july, I am returning back to singing..And you know what, it took me just one month for me to get back on the last track since I left..His free lesson are amazing..
The students with fantastic voices have all done the course for years. There aren’t any short cuts!
Funny thing is, I’m loving doing the exercises, because I’m confident they’ll help me develop a good chest, mixed & head voice, & I’ll be able to sing all the songs i want to sing!
