    You've got a nice tone, and maintain pitch well. The audience will enjoy this. The sound of your voice improves considerably when you go to the upper register.

    I wonder if it's worth using Karaoke backing tracks, which will give a much richer and broader backing to your singing? I'm using KaraFun, which has 58,000 songs!

    @charlie_v thanks for your feedback! I’m 100% against using backing tracks. But that’s just me…I’m not judging others who use them.

    Haha! Having a live band is obviously much better, but you need to find those that are competent. I suppose the problem with playing a single instrument is that you can only really achieve an unplugged sound.

    But if the aim is to learn to sing, I don't think it really matters: whatever helps you develop, and doesn't distract!
