Belt higher than head voice?

I have been doing the 30-minute workout for a few weeks now, and it has been tremendously helpful for my timbre, power, pitch, and range. I can reach the G# and sometimes A with all the vowels in both the arpeggios and major scales. But I've been trying my falsetto, and find my head voice crumbles by the time I reach the F# or G. Is that weird?

probably normal, depending on what "crumble" means. likely, you need to grow your head voice (we all do, kind of). in the beginning, you might only be able to sing with very low volume in head voice. the key is patience: sing softly ("only as loud as you can connect" as Ken likes to say), even though this might be VERY soft at first. then, over time, you will be able to get louder. if that doesn't answer your question, let me know

it is also possible that you are not fully using vowel mods properly, which could also make it "crumble". your best bet would be to record a full LAH exercise, two passes actually, 1x bridging and 1x chest stretching, for you to get feedback on your exercises from this forum. it is kind of an "extra service" and very beneficial feature of this forum. i know it is a bit scary to post (for me it was anyway) but this is the best way to learn more. there will always be issues you didn't know were there but a more experienced student will be able to identify for you. then, you get tips on how to rectify this. i see this is your first post so i assume you didn't know this, right?
