i think you are. it would be ideal if you could post the typical LAH scales, because this gives us a better way of hearing your progress. from what I hear now, you could maybe work on your breath control a bit (sing as if trying to speak under water, retaining as much air as possible). this will give you a fuller and brighter sound. more control means you can still sound breathy on purpose but have the option to be more bright.
