Volumes and Supplemental?

I'm about to move onto Volume 2 and I'm so excited!

I was just curious as to what the pro packs are for and when should I use them?
I skimmed through them and there seems to be little bits like songwriting tips + building head voice etc 

Also;

the supplemental section at the end of each volume is a bit confusing, is it just a carry on from the videos in that volume ?

    The ProPacks are intended for use after completing Volume 3.  Building Head Voice is a big step, but should only be attempted after fully completing all three Volumes.

    There are also a number of Student Webcams.  You can learn a ton from watching those.

    The supplemental information is additional information that was added after the initial volumes were recorded, based in part on questions that have been asked here on the forums.
