Sounds like a good band mate, the band I'm in now is a good bunch and we getting plenty work
And with my vocal abilities skyrocketing from doing kens programme things are looking up .
@ davo165: There's a bunch of stuff on YouTube both Records' related and also my project with Bangle drummer/giuitarist, Debbi Peterson. Our next gig (with me and Debbi - aka Broken Sky) is McCabe's in Santa Monica, California, November 23rd, opening for Denny Laine.
@johnjohn: When my wife and I were first together, we went to a place nearby called "Sound Tracks", where you could record songs on a cassette (yes, I said a "cassette"!)... The first song my wife ever sang for me, and recorded, was "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles! I LOVED that song, and how my wife did it! I recorded "Crocodile Rock" that day! I think we still have the cassette tapes around here somewhere! Please tell Debbi I said "Thanks", we're still married after 30 years! haha
@ rcrosier: Great story, thanks for sharing. I'll relay it to Debbi when I see her tomorrow. :-)
Just heard we'll be appearing on Breakfast With The Beatles, KLOS 95.5FM Los Angeles, as guests of host, Chris Carter, the morning of the show. We'll be performing 2 Beatles' songs live on air, so that day we have our work cut out for us! As for the evening show, due to schedules, we'll have only one rehearsal with the Peter Asher Band, and that's it! Yikes! I should've got a 'proper' job! LOL!
