I was so encouraged by Tori's story! Time and again with every student success story highlighted in these videos, it proves that hard work, determination and time spent following the KTVA program actually works.
I wasn't sure what to think before I listened to KT's latest video of >Can't Help Falling In Love<. How on earth was he going to sing Elvis/not a mimic of Elvis/ but a great version of an absolutely iconic song and original great singer???? Not to sound overly dramatic but I believe he has managed to sing it his own way....BETTER!!! In fact, this cover is unbelievable. I'm just speechless.
For some reason listening to Ken sing in the style of Elvis got me way more excited than seeing his students sing Welcome to the Jungle. I can't say I am an Elvis fan, but this demo got me.
Ken says he teaches students to be able to sing in any genre... damn I can't wait.
This video is being very well-received. Ken has been the metal and rocker's hero for such a long time, but here he is going from Judas Priest Painkiller to Dio's Last in Line, to Donny Hathaway and Elvis crooning. Just goes to show you: You don't have to let anybody put your voice into a box and label it. You can make it be whatever you want to be.
This was another very exciting video to watch, seeing Sara sing in that way really gave me some hope and inspiration. The difference between Carpenters and Jackson 5 was so amazing!
It really makes me hope that some of those things that seem so out of my league in terms of tone could become possible with hard work.
Yes. This video has a lot of energy. Two really good vocalists playing off of one another. Quite a contrast with the super mellow Carpenters, or even the Leather and Lace duo. Lots of different tones and textures!
I've been a kiss fan for a long time, and it looks really cool. Unfortunately this particular item is out of my price range. It's also pretty cool, that Ken was a part of it co-writing 5 songs I do believe? I would have loved to sit in on those writing sessions.
