'Vocal Fry'....

What do the peeps on here think of the 'Vocal Fry'?
What is Ken's stance on this exercise?

It's not something that Ken encourages, because it is of little value, vocally.

Notice that there are no exercises to get you to use it.

Cool - I do like to do it sometimes because it feels relaxing after a workout or a sing out...for a few seconds.

Vocal fry can be used for effect I like it as a bit of a warm up and cool down. Ken does like his students to work out clean developing that base before you add any of the effects. With vocal fry you don't want to over do it so that it effects a part of your range. Work clean and bright as your Center. Once you have developed that, then you can add the style.
