A drummer branching out

Hiya,
So, I used to play drums in rock bands. Bands broke up, time passed.
Started learning guitar, and learning to write songs.
I always loved singing.. and of course in the car I sound great!
It's when I am singing into a mic all by myself that things start to fall apart.
I managed to record a few tunes with passable vocals..

But if you knew how many takes I had to do to get those vocals to sound even that good.. you'd know I need a LOT of help.
I think my biggest issue right now is that I tend to sing sharp. Maybe I try to hard.
In any case, I picked up the KTVA course and I am looking forward to charting my progress.

Your vocals on your demos don't sound so sharp, but I don't know if twangles might have brought you a magical intonation wand or something like that.
You will become a lot more confident in your voice as you drill on Ken's exercises. They will build your range and your tone, and you'll be feeling a lot better about your recorded work as you move along.
Nice to hear from you.
Welcome.
