Been Thinking About Improving For Awhile...

My name is Brian, or BG, and I'm here to learn how to sing! I've been thinking about taking this course for awhile and finally manned up and bought it. Thanks for the wicked holiday deal for those of us struggling with the extra cash right now .
I will look forward to participating in the community and learning.
My goals are to improve my overall range and control. I've always had good pitch (I'm a pianist too) so I can tell when I'm on and off pitch....I just can't always control my voice through phrases. I really want to get into some pop/rock/R&B/soul but I'd also like to find out what style my voice really does work best for and get some feedback.
Cheers everyone!
BG
Edit: thought I'd put in a before video for a little accountability and for any feedback so that I can get started .

You will do well with the course. Pay strict attention to everything Ken says. Replace your old singing habits with new ones from Ken. His methods work.
Pay a lot of attention to getting your breath support working right.
Welcome to KTVA!

Welcome, if I could offer any tips it's to highly aware of starting of lightly. It's easy to go hard but taking it lightly isn't.
