I'm singing a song called highway star! I sing it with my chest voice! All of it, including the screams "i love it. I used to not crack, but now my voice is slowly getting deeper, and I crack singing that song! I once was able to sing it without cracking, and I think I was singing it in my belt voice! I felt no tention/pain... So should I figure that out, or should I try to sing it in my head voice (which isn't powerful because that tone is way too low)...

Ideally, you would rehabilitate your voice and go back to singing it in chest voice. Usually when we lose range, it's because we are using poor technique that causes us to strain and stress our voice. You need to look at your technique and figure out if you are oversinging. That is a primary cause of vocal strain.
