My Vocal Demo - 6mths into KTVA

hi all

I've been doing Ken's training for about 6mths now and while it's still early days, I can't believe the difference it's made.

Even after singing hard for long period, I never lose my voice anymore.

I've never tried singing before so this is all very new to me still.

Here's a quick clip of where I'm at.
Vocals are double tracked with some delay added.

Open to feedback for improvement.

and here's the vox more iso with no fx and single track.

Here is where I started before any KTVA training...

You're moving along very well! One little recording tip for you: You are having breath "plosives" make poofy pops in your recording. Use a pop filter to reduce those or have the mic slightly off-axis. It's air being blown directly into the mc. You can use a foam cover or a mesh screen to reduce the plosive pops.

Thanks very much for your feedback Bob.

    Really appreciate it.

Yes I'm using a sm57 at the moment which I believe doesn't have a filter for vocals.

I do really like the sound of this mic so I might see if I can get a mesh filter to use with it.

    Thanks again!
