My question is about 'opening of mouth while singing'

Some says its better to open your mouth wide open as much as you can, which gives you more power and resonance in the pitch you hit while singing. Which makes more effortless....... Some says you shouldn't open your mouth wide open as much as you can.. you should open your mouth as the same you open while you talk... Which is the right way to sing i am really confused ????

You should open the mouth more than you ordinarily would to just talk. It should be as open as you can make it, without going crazy with it. Do it as much as you can comfortably open it, both at the jaw, and to smile and expose the upper teeth. This will help project and brighten the sound.
Don't open the jaw and throat to the point that it impedes your singing or makes it sound forced open. But it DOES help to stretch it a little more than you may be used to doing. You are looking for a bright and open sound.
All the Best!!
