Im struggling with reaching up for a high note

It's at 0:48. "Matter". I try to go up but it either gets thing or it gets high larynx. I dont wanna be too loud either but rather mix it. I dont know how to mix so well though.

Any tips?

The more you mix it, the softer it will be. If you want to do a chestier, or louder mix, push down more on "matter". It's an Eb, so a lot of guys have their secondo passaggio in that area, so you may be uncertain exactly how you want to sing it.

Thanks Bob. I'll fiddle around with pushing down and see if I want a lighter or louder mix. This is good info. Its important on how I want it to sound. In truth it is up to me. Just wanted some help. Thanks again.
