Scream like Courtney Love

in GENERAL SINGING - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy Forum
I was wondering if anyone knows the technique that Courtney Love uses to scream. I'd love to be able to incorporate this kind of sound into my singing but I have no idea how to go about doing it or if it is even safe for your voice.

I'm working through volume one at the moment so I'm not going to attempt it yet XD but any advice would be a great help for setting goals later on.

    It's a little early for that. When you are well-established in Volume 3, pick one of her songs. The exact method she uses may not be all that safe, but you can apply Ken's glottal compressions methods to tame screams into low-volume simulations that are convincing, but safe for your voice.
