1 month into the program

in Newbies Demo Area - for those who want to test the waters!
Its been a month now since I started so I wanted to post some audio of me singing so you all can see what ive learned so far, and how i use it in singing songs.
I know there are a few bumps in it, but I still have a very long journey ahead so................
Anyway, Im very happy with my progress. What Ive learned already was well worth the price of admission.

    Thank you Bob. Right now because everything is new, I feel like Im getting it, but there are a lot of things going on to think about at once and if I concentrate on one then the other suffers, etc....... but Im working it out.
    Cant wait to see what month 2 will sound like.

    That just comes with time. Now you have to think about all of those things, and you keep realizing that you're leaving something else out. Eventually, you know all of those things as "normal and correct" and you will always tend to do them "naturally", because you will have trained correctly, long enough.

    @highmtn, to be honest, I didnt think I would get this far. Thats how bad I was at singing. Even my relatives would tell me that I suck. Its already incredible what I can do right now. I just wish this was available to me 20-30 years ago.

    Also: you might want to try the BJ Thomas song "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head". I have found it to be a confidence builder...unlike Led Zeppelin's "Night Flight", another song on my practice list that I will probably not sing well in THIS lifetime ;)

    @rkirsner Funny that you mention that B.J. Thomas song. That song was my very first public singing attempt..........I was in 2nd grade lol.
