    Pretty much like any other form of imitation.
    Observe their habits, in this case vocal habits or tendencies.
    Once you're really familliar with the subject, you start breaking it down line by line, and get it as close to the original as possible. This is tough work, and there are no shortcuts, much like the KTVA program itself.
    So once you have it down with a clean voice, you then need to lay some safe distortion onto it, and yet again tailor that to Roger's sound.
    Its a long process, but if you take your time and get it down, the next song you learn of his will already be allot closer to the mark, as you have already ingrained some of his habits.
