After posting today that I've not written any non-parody songs, I decided to change that. So... this. It's called "Down Like That".
I play it in a fast 8/8 12 bar blues/country sort of John Lee Hooker x Blake Shelton style. I heard an axiom once that "women hope their groom will change, and men hope their bride won't, and they are both disappointed". This is about that. I'll record a version of it later in the week.
