How much it works the physical training for the voice?

Hi i'm Manolo from Panama
sorry if my english it's not very good enough
does anybody know how much the physical training works for the voice?
and who can give a physical routine exercises for singers?

    Singing itself is a physical training. You train the muscles for breath support, for stretching the vocal cords, for relaxation.

    Situps can be helpful for the core and for building stamina. Running and just about any cardio exercise can help with endurance and breath stamina. Planks are good. Being in general good health is helpful for the voice.

    I think overall fitness and the flexibility especially of your instrument aka everything apart from your legs and hands!. Next to common fitness regime. I could recommend so-called somatic practices: Contact improvisation, Skinner release technique Body-Mind Centering. Traditional: Joga, Thai-chi. I did contemporary dance for a long time, I see videos advertising super expensive courses that teach the very basics of somatic techniques. If you can look for such courses places in your area. They are a way less expensive.
