Hello all,
My name is Omari. I am from the lovely twin island country of Antigua and Barbuda. I just bought the course and can't wait to get started. The genre of music which I sing is Calypso, the music of most of the English-speaking Caribbean. I am looking to gain more control over my voice and to be able to sing powerfully without hurting my throat and voice. I also want to expand my range and to be able to sing in different styles. Looking forward to the journey.
To see where I'm starting out, here is a calypso called "The Dark Place" that I did for Antigua's carnival celebrations which we dub "The Caribbean's greatest summer festival". This is my first recorded work.
