I'm very excited to join this community and learn and grow as a musician. I had never done anything in music until I started learning guitar at age 45 (9 years ago). I was fortunate and got invited to jam with some very experienced musicians. They told me to "sing the next song" and then I was informed I was their singer! I was pretty horrible and was doing about everything wrong you could possibly do. Learning guitar and singing at the same time was definitely a challenge. I've come a long way since then, and I still have so much to learn. We are still together as a band (except the drummer... what is it with drummers? ) and play classic rock and blues covers around town for fun. I can't contribute a lot with technical music knowledge but I have lots of experience learning while gigging and the business side of life! See ya around.

I've heard that there are a few of "them" (drummers) around here and they think they can learn to sing, too... often figuring out later in life that they, too, should have started singing long ago... but now, even drummers can learn to sing!
But you never know who around here is going to turn out to be one of them... (drummers).
