Ok, I'm on it, and I feel some heat in the back of my throat. Is that normal, feeling a warmth back in there?

Not really.  Make sure you're not applying too much air pressure.  It is normal to feel that you are stretching and moving beyond your former limitations.  Everybody is different, so just be careful as you begin to stretch beyond areas you might not be used to.

You may just be feeling the temperature of a lot of airflow from the open throat.

Uh-oh! How do you know if you're putting too much air-pressure? I hope I'm not. I'm also not used to singing on camera because I haven't done so in a while, so I gotta work on staying relaxed throughout my whole body, yes, vocals too!

I hope that I was only feeling the temperature of the airflow from having my throat opened up.

    Now I'm a little concerned.

Don't worry unless you are feeling discomfort or experiencing hoarseness.

You do feel air-in-the-throat sensations a little differently when you first start working with Open Throat techniques.

No, I don't feel any hoarseness or discomfort, thank God. I just feel some temperature heat back in there.

That's probably good, then.  You will feel the warmth when you cut back the air flow.

You want more tone and less air.
