Older 54 year old that picked up acoustic guitar about 2 years ago and slowly learning some songs. Need to develop my voice more. I can carry a tune but it is pretty rough. Mostly 99.9% chest voice. Guys at work get together and jam at our companies quarterly "townhall" meeting. I'ts a blast. I'd really like to blow their socks off one day and belt out some classic rock tune.

Sounds like a plan. You are at a great age to start developing your voice into a monster that will definitely blow some socks off at those townhall meetings. I used to play gigs in the Texarkana/Paris part of the country, among others. I don't know if that's close to where you are or not.
It's nice to meet you. Stick around. You want to really develop and grow that chest voice before worrying much about head voice. It's a lot of work, but well worth it. Are you ready to practice?
