Hello everyone!
I have read about Dio's biography and found out he has never done any vocal training and he stated once he played on a horn in childhood and that was what made his voice so great. Would playing a horn be a way for better singing? If Ronnie has never really done a vocal training then it really seems like playing a horn makes your voice really powerful. I would like to know what you are thinking.

    Some horn players have learned to really control their breath well, and to support their breath. Dio had exellent breath support.

    He was fortunate that he had a really good voice without having to train his voice. It was as if he was born "trained". Most of us were not that fortunate, and have had to seek out training. He was trained to breathe well through his musical experience with the horn.
