Low notes

I'm currently trying to sing "Nothing Else Matters" in the original key. It is pretty much at the lower end of my vocal range but I am still able to hit the notes although they are at very low volume. How can I make them more powerful?

(Singing them an octave higher is no option, since I want to make progress in singing low notes ;) )

    @thecaves low notes need a lot of brightness added to get them to sound good. In terms of power, it's tricky because low pitches are difficult to apply support to ... best to aim for more brightness than power for a start.
