I'm new at this (forums & all) ; came here to sort things out vocally , been in bands , but never as a singer...(played keyboards).

    We are glad you're here.  I don't know if you've taken the PLUNGE and started the KTVA course.  IF you do, it will change your voice forever.  This is the only course that can train your voice to Belt and Wail without destroying your vocal cords.
