Finally ready to record

Hi Everyone,
I love Ken, and thankful to him for creating this forum, I am saving up for the course. Just from the free course I have improved so much. I used to have horrible stage fright. Now, I can get those butterflies to fly with me. I have been using the free course for a few years. I am ready to start recording myself for input. My phone recordings are inconsistent. Is there an app on the android that is good for recording and sharing? thanks!---Lorna

    If you have a PC then Audacity is free and very helpful. Not sure that that would help in your case, but I thought that would throw that out there.

    Just remember that the microphone on a cell phone is the same as a lavalier microphone like news anchors wear for a broadcast. It's mainly for the speaking voice.
    Recording gear is fairly cheap these days. For a home studio you can get by with a few hundred bucks. Back when I started recording, the same technology would have cost about $100,000
