Same started doing volume 1 but I have been watching them endless times before I start the audio so I don't learn the wrong way cause its harder to unlearn something then.
@Rowena85 , D-Supp. (I HATE spelling out 'diaphragmatic'!!!) is both simple and difficult, in that is is a new-learned muscle response. Try this idea I got from one of the other admins: - Sit in a chair without a back - Lean back so your body is in this shape \_ - Expand your ribcage out a bit, then hold your breath and lock it down - Slowly exhale by compressing your belly in towards your spine (also contract your lower ribs inwards) - Do NOT compress the air out of your upper lungs/chest cavity, that stays locked down. - Once you have expelled all the air from your D-Supp, (while keeping your ribcage locked at 50%-75%) quickly relax your abdominals and intercostals... your belly will snap back out due to the negative pressure - Rinse and repeat this action - Now add a single note burble or the tongue exercise - The game is now to meter the release of air from your D-Supp so that your note lasts a ridiculously long time. - ... and make it repeatable without feeling the need to gasp for air. - Its a little like blowing bubbles out of your mouth when they first start teaching you to swim
Once you have this feeling down, feel free to translate the subtleties of it to the standing position
