Hello songbirds! 😊

Aren't you all sick of the microphone cable? It is 21 century - high time to ditch that old thing 😀

That is why I am planning to buy a wireless system for singing.

Any suggestions? 🎤📻

    Wireless is boring. You can't sling the mic around without one. You can't kick the stand down, and catch it by the cord ala James Brown. It just sits there.

    Respectfully , I disagree. :)


    I want it because during the show I want to move more and entertain the audience more. Like on The Voice 😀😂 it creates more drama.

    I also feel more free (so it helps me on psyhological level to sing better). But I guess that is just my personal reference.

    How about a Wireless Mic headset that incorporates In-Ear-Monitoring!!!???

    Definitely! Centrifugal force versus XLR locking socket... centrifugal force wins far too many times for me to risk it anywhere other than my basement or with anything other than my old beater sm58 :naughty:

    I stick to the 57 for that type of recreation. (already replaced two grills on the 58 lol)

    the good thing about wireless is that you can move around more, the bad thing you have to buy batteries almost every show, like someone said up there I idecided to invest on In-ears which help a lot more to always hear yourself regardless of the microphone and the bad monitors, plus if the batteries die, you still have ear plugs to not scream to fight against drum volume or guitars on 11 volume :)

    Yep, in-ears are the best thing ever for singers (and also generally for music IMO). Just make sure you protect your ears from feedback and volume spikes.
