Singing in > -15°C

Hi Guyz,

Winter is coming. Winter has arrived. I went into "exile". Meaning that I am no longer allowed to sing inside the house anymore. I tried to do it in the garage. But it is below -15°C... Is it feasible to sing through winter in a non-heated cold garage? (dressing up properly, drinking a lot etc...)

I am looking forward to your thoughts.

PS.: It is ridiculous, isn't it? Well, it seems it is high time that I rented a flat where nobody will hate me for scaling lol. :smiley:

    Instead of renting a space, maybe buy a couple of commercial heaters for the garage?

    Yeah, you got a point. Maybe it is worth it to rewire the old garage for the sake of a heater. I will consider it.

    Thanks for the idea! Sometimes it is the simplest that does not cross my mind.

    @doc_ramadani Well I am serious. :-/ Long story short my family has dozens of bad memories of musicians so they judge me after this. It kind of an inconsiderate prejudice towards me. So i have to find a way to ignore them and adjust or find a new place to sing.

    Thanks all of you! Anyway I feel a little like a 'crybaby' afterall lol. Next time I will keep these family things to myself. Moreover, I managed to get a vacant classroom for practice. My voice teacher is as cool as a cucumber. :-)

    Hey Peter, Don't sweat it. We all run into snags here, and there.

    That's awesome to get an empty classroom. The acoustics are probably great for vocals. Too bad you couldn't get the Auditorium ha ha.
    Now you have an even better place than renting a flat, or even a heated garage.
